Value of Collectors Choice Doll?

A porcelain doll in a box.I've had this doll since I was 6-7 years old. It has never been open, but the tape was broken on the top of the box. It is in perfect condition. I am just wondering if it is worth anything since I can't find it online anywhere?

I believe this question was asked about this same doll in June, 2017 and it's sad to say but very little has changed from then until the present time.
If anything, value for dolls like this has gotten lower and much more difficult to sell.
There are thousand of similar dolls listed for sale - this brand and other similar brands and the ones that sell are still selling for less than $25 and many even sell for $5. The sad part is these dolls may have been listed for months/years before they even sold for $20.

I do not see any Collector's Choice dolls on Etsy for anywhere close to a thousand dollars. The top price I see is $125 and that doll has been posted for months. Most of them are under $100 and many are in the $25-30 price range.

It would be helpful for you to post the link to the dolls you are describing.

These dolls are mass-produced which really lowers the price of the doll. Dolls like this are so hard to find online because the company makes so many of them. They are sold in mass quantity at local stores like K-Mart, Target, Walgreen and so many more.

Currently, the market is flooded with these dolls and this drives down the price so much. Most people are begging people to buy them and they are selling them for $1-10 now.

I am not sure the value of these dolls will ever go up again and the average selling price for dolls like this is between $5-15. Many people get a little extra money if they don't sell them online but instead sell them locally at a yard sale or a swap meet.

Sadly, as cybergrannie not much has changed since you asked about her in 2017.

She's cute. With the box, if she is the 25 inch or taller doll, which she appears to be, they sell periodically for between 10 and 25 dollars.

If she is under 25 inches, those sell for under 10 dollars, if they sell.

Sadly the market continues to be glutted and that means high supply and low demand, which drives prices down. Thanks for sharing!

This Brand of dolls are all over social media. Although popular, the sells do not back the product. The average selling price is up to $20. These dolls are mass produced, and are of plenty. This drives the sells down , bringing in very little. Here are what others are asking - www.ebay.com/.../bn_85192699 - also to help, sale your doll locally to cut back on shipping fees. You may get close to asking price , sense it is so close to the Holidays.

These are mass produced dolls that are worth less than their original price, even if never taken out of the box. They are priced at $10-15 on eBay and do not sell
