A lot of times it is not possible to find the exact table that you have. Mersman made so many different style tables and sold so many of them over the years. I do notice on one of your photos there is some damage on the table and looks like it is banged up or scratched up. Normally if you are looking to sell a table you find one that is very similar to yours that has sold recently. This is the value of the table. However, considering yours has some damage to the table it will sell for less. Most end tables are selling for around $50-75 each.

Yes, thank you. I bought it for $10 on facebook so I wasn't worried about the damage I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something rare before restoring it. Thanks for the help!

You got a wonderful bargain! Enjoy your restoration and love the piece!! There are a few Mersman's that are unique and have resale value, but generally, when you see that name it represents a heavily mass-produced brand that is on the low end of it having current higher values in resale.

They made lots and lots of really nice and very functional pieces--which is why there are so many on the market today. Enjoy your restoration and having the piece give you many years of services!

Mersman is a good name in furniture but the numbers are really useless as there does not seem to be any record of what the numbers stand for. It seems that some high numbers were actually made in earlier days but the names/marks can be traced to time periods. Most tables are shown as 'mid century' and left at that.

You may never see a table exactly like yours listed for sale and definitely may never find one that has been sold so you will have to make your own decision about the value of your table based on sold items that appear to be a similar style.

Value is difficult to determine from just seeing one picture and also not knowing where the table is located as shipping a large item can be very expensive and most sellers list their items as 'local pick up only'. So, your area may like Mersman or it could be that your table just looks like an inexpensive yard sale item.

Formica top tables seem to be in the lower end of value in furniture market (I think your table has Formica top?) and from the picture the condition seems to be what most would consider as needing 'refurbishing'. If the top is Formica then even refurbishing might be difficult.

It is difficult to find any similar end tables that have sold recently but I did find a similar set that sold in 2018 at a regular auction and the price was $22 (these 3 tables look to be in very good condition). You may think this is a long time ago but furniture prices have not improved and actually are slower selling now than in past years.

This is not a good example of value but it does show what can happen at an auction.

I would place your table in the $35-$50 bracket and even at this price it may not sell or may not sell for many months.
A local market or yard sale may actually be a better location for selling this table.
A similar table sold on eBay recently (and it does have some damage) so maybe you should start your price higher and it may sell even in the slow market.
This table sold for $74 and was only listed for sale for 60 days and that is really good timing for just regular furniture.

Good buy.. Refurbishing does not always up the value very much unless it is a really popular style to begin with.
These can sometimes sell for higher prices when changed in a good make over and there are so many possibilities - just looking on Google and Pinterest I'm amazed at what designs and colors are used and look really nice.

Good luck - I feel sure you will realize a profit - hope it's fun also.

eBay has a set of the same tables for $179.99 - This is not a sold price, it's asking price, in good condition -www.ebay.com/.../293756921350?hash=it.
