I got my Kofi yesterday from a friend who saved him from being sold in the heat at a flea market. They said he's a Chihuahua/Pug mix, but I don't think he looks like Pug. Any ideas?

I agree with you. There are no visual indications your dog is mixed with a pug. If anything, he might have a terrier breed in the mix. He is absolutely adorable. He's fortunate your friend was compassionate enough to save him and you are willing to give him a good home.
Blessings to your sweet pup!! I see lot of French bulldog in the face and maybe some daschshund in the body. Very little Chihuahua.
Have the vet take a look see when he gets his first vaccines. The vet can look at his jaws and bone structure and give you a good guestimate!

Might be easier to tell once hes older. Perhaps French Bulldog/Chi or French Bulldog/Dachshund.
