My dog is a Chihuahua mix, but I can't figure out what other breed is he mixed with? He weighs about 17lbs and is not fat. Anyone have ideas?

It looks like a German Shepherd/Chihuahua to me.
Your dog might have some spaniel (such as Cavalier Spaniel) in its background.

Your baby is very cute!! I love his sweet face and coloring. He has such unusual markings!! I am thinking this one is one the vet needs to weigh in on. He looks like he is wearing aviator glasses!! I just want to hug him!
The vet can look at his bone structure, jaws, and such and give you a good idea of his mix. The chihuahua is apple head (rounded).
The mix can be referred to as Heinz 57 sauce--if you are from Pittsburgh we call pups that remember many breeds Heinz 57 after the sauce that has lots of good ingredients!

That coloring is either Min Pin, Doberman, or Rottie. The face shape is 100% Rottie to me. The weight makes me think it could be a cross
