Can you tell me anything about this teacup and saucer? It looks to be for a child by the pictures on it. I haven't been able to find anything on the internet.
This shaving mug has a bottom marking which says only "Germany" (not "made in Germany"), with the number "15" in the center
www.collectorsweekly.com/
The mug owner wrote "the fact that is says "Germany" and not "made in..." is significant, and makes it an older mug."
"it could date as early as 1880, but certainly before 1918 (based on the "Germany" only marking)" www.collectorsweekly.com/
Inquiring about how much my Briar Rose Nelson sugar bowl and creamer cup is worth?
It looks like there may be several different styles of the Briar Rose pattern but it appears that your set is slightly square-shaped.
this round-shaped set is listed for sale on eBay for $39.95.
The following listing has only been for sale a short time and has a similarly shaped bottom but not the same marking as your set.
This is listed at a higher price but you could place a watch on this listing to see if it sells.
www.ebay.com/
Here is another similar set (different markings) that also has a tray and the asking price is $35. This set has only been listed for about 8 months.
www.ebay.com/
I can only show the sets listed for sale as there have been no sold sets listed on eBay for several months.
I have this set of Saxon China complete setting for 12. Just curious if it's worth anything?
You have a china set with "Zephyr" shape made by the French-Saxon China Co. of Sebring, Ohio.
There are trade ads for the Zephyr shape with the same flower www.laurelhollowpark.net/
The price of 12 cups & 12 saucers French Saxon china Queen Elizabeth Maroon red gold is $ 53.99, was $ 71.99 www.ebay.com/
I can find other patterns of Rosenthal Plossberg china on-line, but not this one. I have no idea how to get information on its value. My mother gave it to me not too long ago, but I'm not sure how long she had it before that or where she got it from.
Help?Rosenthal is a German manufacturer of porcelain products and other household goods. It was founded in 1879 in Selb, Bavaria.
The backstamp on your plate was used from 1954-1956 www.collectrosenthal.com/
The pattern number 3092 is written next to the manufacturer's backstamp. This pattern was designed by Raymond Loewy for Rosenthal.
I found pieces with the same pattern:

Grandmother had this large plate and left to me. It's very hand painted contemporary look is different from most TST. Have you ever seen it? Is it rare?
Taylor Smith Taylor (TST) is moderately priced dinnerware and since thousands of pieces were produced very few pieces seem to be valuable (as in value over $25-$50).
Also, larger platters are not used very often in the normal course of today's everyday life.
It appears you have a plate hanger on your platter (which may not be a good idea as it can damage the rim) so you are probably using it as a wall hanging. This may appeal to a small number of people.
Your platter is called a 'chop' plate/platter and appears to have been made in sizes 11" & 12".
eBay is usually the best place to search items as their site has for sale items and also 'sold' items. I did not see any similar platters in their sold listings but did find your same platter listed for sale.
Items listed for sale do not indicate value unless it is sold. Only a sold item will show what someone was willing to pay for that item - sold price = current value.
This item has been listed for sale for over a year and has not sold at this price: $44.95.
You can place a watch on this item to see if it sells:
www.ebay.com/
You can always check with Replacements if you want more information. They now have a new way to find your pattern information:
www.replacements.com/
The middle numbers are supposed to represent the manufacturing date. It would appear this pattern was produced in 1942-1943.
History:
Taylor, Smith and Taylor, or TST, was purchased by Anchor Hocking in 1971, who stopped producing the brand in 1981.

I've had this set of china for about 35 years. I've searched but can't find the value. Any ideas? Thank you.
Arcopal is a French brand dinnerware sets that have become synonymous with Opal they have existed for over 60 years.
Verrerie Cristallerie d'Arques started out as a small family crystal and glassmaking shop in Arques, Frances in 1825. By the 21st century, the business had grown to become the world leader in tableware manufacture. The Durand family still owns the privately held company that began producing Acropal plates and other dishware in 1958. From 2000 to 2016 the company ceased making Arcopal. Today Acropal glass dishware is being manufactured once again.
From the backstamp on your plate, I think your set was made in the 1970s.
I found a plate with the same stamp as yours, with the same edge www.ebay.com/
Your set does not have such a common pattern as Arcopal's popular collections for example Veronica. I could not find the exact name of the pattern even on French sites. You can try contacting Arcopal www.arcopal.fr/
www.facebook.com/
When it's difficult to identify a name of such pattern, sellers simply write blue flowers www.bibelotandco.fr/
To determine the price, check on ebay the prices of pieces made in the 1970s with a similar rim and less popular blue pattern. A lot of these are sold on French sites.
What is the value of blue and white Haviland china including, 4 teacups, 6 small bowls, and a sugar saucer with lid?
Looks like the blue garland pattern.
Tea cups are selling (eBay SOLD prices--not asking) for 3.75 each for sets of four that is $14.99 each + shipping.
Bowls, if they are the 7 1/2 inch ones have SOLD prices of 7.49 each (also sold in sets of four). The one set was sold where the seller paid the shipping so you can cut that value in half since shipping is very costly.
The sugar bowl is selling (SOLD prices again) for $12.00 each.
The prices I am quoting are for pristine pieces with little to no wear. Even one chip or ding and any sign of wear will devalue them by at least $2 a piece.
If you are looking for a one and done way to sell them, I would ask Replacements.com if they are buying and get them to send you a quote sheet. If you like what they offer, you pack and ship (follow their instructions to the letter) and in a few weeks you get a check.
IF you don't want to mess with shipping, I suggest a local venue like a consignment store so you share the percentage of sale and have no hassles.
The prices I am giving you are considered re-sale retail...which you could try to fetch on eBay if you want to sell them yourself.
Any other method you will get less, but it is a much easier way to sell highly breakable items like these lovelies!
I have few tea cups sets (just cups and saucers). I would like to find out the value of each set. I don't know where else to look. The blue ones are 14 cups and 14 saucers. I just need help to price them so I can sell the sets.
Thank you!
So the next one, the Royal Crown Derby is selling (SOLD PRICE) for $45 for 1 cup/saucer. That is pretty amazing to me as most china I have researched lately has very little value--but this pattern seems to be still quite valuable. This is the sold auction:
www.ebay.com/
If you want to maximize your profits on your sale, it is critical to research each set (I didn't see at first you have multiple sets, I thought you just had 2).
This step is important so you know today's market value on your pieces (which = sold prices) and so you don't under cut yourself or try to get too much for something that has no value and you waste a lot of time).
To research, type what is on the back the piece into eBay's search engine. Match your piece to what is SOLD (select the sold button) and that gives you today's market value for the item--like I share above.
My guess is some will have value like the Royal Crown pieces and some will not, like the pretty blue and white set.
If you are not an experienced seller, I suggest having an estate sale company or a consignment store sell them for you so you get the maximum value for your items. You will get a percentage of the sale--basically paying them for the hassle of selling it for you.
If you are an experienced eBay is the best place to sell using the sold values described above as a guide for pricing. When you ship be use to use the box in box technique where each piece is wrapped in bubble wrap, then cardboard, then boxed. None of the inside boxes can touch (use packing peanuts between them). Be sure to pack your items BEFORE LISTING (DON'T SEAL JUST WRAP) so you know the weight and size of the box to put into eBay's shipping tool.
Best wishes on yours sales!! Post back with updates!
I am trying to figure out the value or background information on any of these styles. I wouldn't even know where to begin.
Any information would be appreciated. Thank you! These pieces appear to be in $25-$45 dollar range but actually selling them for that price would still be a problem as this type of china is usually plentiful which brings the value down.
I have a lot of antique china. Some is bone china and also rose gold. That's about all I know. I was hoping to get some more information on them and to find out if they hold any value. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Please look for markings on the bottom of your china and post any photos as china is produced by so many different US and foreign countries it would be almost impossible to identify a piece by just a photo.
Please let us know if you find markings and someone will try to help you.
