Then when I put the first appliqué piece down, it stitches out until it gets to the final stitching and then it tears the stabilizer and pulls the fabric away as well. Longarm Sewing Machine Error Code?My TinLizzie18 is sick. It turns on, gives the error code "uC", and then the screen turns to the normal "start sewing" screen. When I press the foot pedal, the machine moves lightening fast. I can't make it slow down (releasing the pressure on the foot does nothing. Changing the speed does nothing.) Advice for Choosing a Vintage Sewing Machine?I have found not 1, but 2 vintage sewing machines advertised locally! This is highly unusual to see in this part of the Northwest USA. The first one is a Domestic with a nice cabinet for $60. The other is a Coronado with a good cabinet (could use refinishing) for free. Reverse Not Working on Singer Merritt 2404?When I push in the reverse, the feed dog seems to change, but the stitches look like they are set on zero to 1 and barely move. Everything works going forward. I have oiled and cleaned everything. When the reverse is being held in, you can watch the gear shaft underneath, and it obviously is not moving as far as it does going forward.
