I have a black and grey sofa set, black as in base too, and corn silk coloured wall. My other furniture are also in a black shade with some wood.

Red always goes well with black and gray. I wouldn't go with a deep red, but maybe more on the cherry red color.
I think a black and gray print or check would be very classy.
