The puppy is only 1.5 months. People were I reside never have heard about white German Shepherds. So I'm wondering in your opinion if he looks like a German Shepherd? I posted mom & dad'd pictures. We know the dad is a German, but the mom they don't know since it was gifted.

This puppy does not look like a white German Shepherd to me. It looks like a mix of several breeds. You could take a dna test to get the full bloodline.

Have you established him with a vet yet? If so, the vet can look at markers on him (like teeth, jaw, hips, bone structure and give you a good idea of his breed.
My understanding of the white GS is it is a recessive gene, so anything is possible depending on the parents. You said you know the dad was a GS. If the mom was a GS or a GS mix, the pup could be a white GS or a white GS mix.
