Identifying a Porcelain Doll?

Identifying a Porcelain Doll - doll in the box, wearing a long evening gownI can't seem to find the brand, name, or value of this doll. The marking was hard to get a picture of, but the "i" in the signature seems to be dotted with a heart. It is also 171/250 LTD and stands about 29 inches.

Anyone able to offer some ideas!?

The 171/250 indicates how many dolls were made by the doll manufacturer. Your doll was 171 and they made 250 of these dolls. Normally these types of dolls are produced in mass quanity and shipped to all stoes around the world.

Dolls such as your are selling for as little as $5 and as high as $25.

Thank you all very much! I received the doll in a Franklin Heirloom box which is why I was asking.

Hi and thanks for posting back. MARYSE NICOLE signed her name with a heart and your gal may be one of her dolls in the Gibson Girl collection.

If that truly matches (even in the new photos, I still can't see the entire signature) I have seen them listed on eBay (unsold) from $20 to $100.

Since you have the gal in front of you, I am going to post a link that has her signature on one of the photos--so you can easily compare--please post back if you think they match. From what I can tell, they may:

Please post back with what you see!! Thanks again for the additional info!
