Kitchen Wall and Cabinet Paint Color Advice?

Kitchen Wall and Cabinet Paint Color Advice? - kitchen with white cabinets and green countertopsI can't change the floor and counter top right now, unless you know a cheap way lol. So with that, any idea on walls or cabinets? To me this is too much green and white. TIA!

You could do neutral colors like tan, taupe, cream, or soft yellow, will compliment the other colors , by changing the wall color!

Painting the cabinets a soft gray or ivory would help neutralize the green. For the walls, you could select a complementary earthy shade of dark grey, clay red, rust or golden tan.

Sometimes my local Home Depot or Lowes has a paint section that is 50-75% off. It is usually if someone picks a color and the machine didn't come out correctly or, it's extra.

I picked some up for my paint project & saved lots of money. You could try browsing the clearance section for tile, flooring too :)

I have to agree with you on this one there is a lot of white and green in this kitchen. I think the green should be changed on the walls for sure. I think going with a dust or light grey color would fit nicely with the floors and blend in a lot better than that green color. To tone down some of the white in the cabinets I would like to suggest that you use a little bit darker grey color as a border trim on the faces of the cabinets to help blend all this in and tone down the green color.

This will add a bit more color to the kitchen. I would not paint the entire face of the cabinets but instead, make a border around them and accent them.

I would go a light gray on the cabinets and a darker gray on walls, in the same gray family. At some point you will be renovating the kitchen flooring and countertops, and by having a neutral gray as your backdrop, choosing your materials will be easier. I agree, there is way too much green in that kitchen!

I love it!! You could add a few pops of a color just as accessories and change the whole vibe of the room. Add some black or some sunny yellow or some jewel blue as pops--through things on the counter--like a vase, or dish towels, or plates on stands.

This room has so much potential and the vibe can change with very little time or money!! Thanks for sharing!
