Tired of the same old thing? Try ground turkey. It's better for you and reminds you of Thanksgiving.


  • 1- 2 lbs. of ground turkey
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 stalks celery
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 or 2 eggs
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 Tbsp. sage
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. Gravy Master
  • Salt and pepper


Place carrot, celery, onion in food processor. Process until all is chopped up. Add ground turkey and 1 or 2 eggs. Place all in a large bowl. Add spices and oatmeal as a filler. Hand mix all together.

Turn into baking pan (9x13) and form into a long loaf.

If you like gravy, add at the table (beef or turkey)

Servings: 10 or more
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 35-40 Minutes

  • 2 lb. ground lean sirloin
  • 1 lb. bulk turkey sausage
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1 small potato, grated
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup egg beaters

  • 2 cup oatmeal
  • 1 Tbsp. herb seasoning
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2-4 cloves garlic
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine sirloin, sausage, carrots, potato, onion, egg beaters, oatmeal, seasonings and garlic in large bowl; mix well. Shape into loaf. Place in large bowl; mix well. Shape into loaf. Place in large nonstick bread pan. Spread tomato sauce over top. Bake for 2-3 hours or until internal temperature reaches 180 degrees F and sauce is brown and crusty. 8-10 servings.

  • 2 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed soda crackers
  • 1/4 cup quick oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or marble cheese
  • 2 smoked sausage links or 4 regular hot dogs, chopped finely

Sauce Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 2 tsp. mustard
  • Advertisement

  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. liquid smoke


Combine eggs, crackers, quick oats, milk, salt, and pepper. Add turkey and sausage or hot dogs. Mix well. Add cheese and mix gently. Press firmly into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Combine sauce and spread on meatloaf the last 20 minutes or baking, uncovered.
