I love juke boxes. Do you have a photo?

There are some sold on eBay...you can go through this link which includes completed (UNSOLD) and sold and see if your version is one of the ones that sold and how much...the SOLD will give you the current market value.

The unsold will tell you people TODAY aren't willing to pay the asking price....but tomorrow someone will...so SOLD values are the only ones I use when valuing items:

www.ebay.com/.../i.html?_odkw=1940+RockOla+de+20&LH_Complete...

If one like yours has not sold, you can go into the active auctions and find one and watch it to see what it sells for. Never use active prices as value as people can ask what they want, value is only what someone pays today!

I do know that many people make more money deconstructing their jukeboxes and selling it off as parts. If you look closely at the link I gave you you will see that some of the parts are selling for good $$$! Just a tidbit food for thought!

Selling these locally is best as they are almost impossible to ship. Where you are the value may be higher or lower than where it is sold on eBay.

A good antique dealer (even though it technically is not an antique) may want to buy it from you or you could also find a good consignment store to sell it for you and give you a percentage....they will give you the value (price) and then you can decide if you want your profit (what you get) is OK since it will always be less than the value...the benefit of selling it through a dealer is it is out of your house and you get the cash without the muss and fuss of the sale!!!

There is always Facebook Marketplace and Craig's list and such if you don't mind people coming to your house to look at it.

Good luck!! Share a photo if you can!!

I have seen many of these RockOla jukeboxes for $1500 and up. Follow eBay for a few weeks and see what they sell for.
