Doc (Jack Russell) and Hoss (Rat Terrier)

Doc and Hoss are four years old. Doc, the Jack Russell, was a rescue puppy from some very drunk people at a bar. Hoss, the Rat Terrier, came to us by way of Craigslist, from some kids moving to Ohio that couldn't take him with them.

Doc loves to swim and he spins in circles bucking like a bull. We call that the rodeo. He loves to play Frisbee, stick, and ball. Hoss likes to do everything Doc does, although he is much more verbal about it. They are highly entertaining, great companions, and since this is my first time with little dogs, I was surprised at how quiet they usually are. Great personalities, and very loyal and protective.

These two look like they get up to some mischief together. I'm glad you gave them both a loving home. Great that they have each other as well.

Doc & Hoss are adorable! I love this photo of them in the tree - it's so unusal for dogs to actually climb trees & so funny to see, when they do. Best wishes! I hope enjoy these two little characters for many, many years!

In my opinion, yours is one of the top submissions I've seen! Very sweet and handsome dogs; fantastic photo! You did a wonderful thing by saving these two and they are giving back to you every single day. We have three dogs and foster others, rescuing them from the shelter's euthanasia list and working at getting them into nurturing, forever homes.

We love them all. The photo is of our Little LuLu, Mighty Molly and Mini MiMi. LuLu is the biggest one and Molly is the smallest one.

They look so happy and content! Thank you so much for making such a difference in their daily lives. Are they in a tree?

Hugs and pats to them!

Thank you for giving them a good home! It puts my mind in a tiny bit more ease, as I am having to scramble to find a home for my Bailout boy (he's in this contest, too, but I entered before I knew I had to get rid of him) so that my husband and I can move to southern California. I am hoping to find him a home as good as the one you provide for these two beautiful dogs :')
