I adopted Moose from a shelter! They said he's a Chihuahua mix. Does anyone have some opinions on what he might be mixed with?

Just comparing your photos with pictures of Chihuahua mixes, I'd guess your dog might be mixed with an Italian greyhound, some type of terrier such as a rat terrier or fox terrier or a miniature pinscher.
He could be a Chiweenie, which is a Chihuahua/Doxie mix. Regardless of his actual mix, he's adorable! Give him a big smooch from this dog lover!

I love seeing your adorable Moose! He actually looks full-blooded to me, I do not see evidence of any other breeds, from his appearance! I have a sweet Chihuahua girl who is named Harley. She looks just like your Moose!
I concur that he looks full-blown Chihuahua to me, though the snout could have some Greyhound to him
he looks like the deer head CHihuahua type v. the apple head variety

I see Chihuahua, dachshund, and maybe a little bit of min pin or whippet . Those long legs are whippet like but the paws are dachshund like, as is the long body!
