Paper Bag for Small Recycling
I use paper grocery bags for my recycling, I put them in the corner in my kitchen and they collect paper, newspaper, cans, and plastics. When the bag is full I just throw it out into my large recycling container in the garage and open a new bag in the kitchen!

Craft: Swiffer "Cozy" Pad Replacement
I recently made a Swiffer Cozy for my Swiffer to replace the dry Swiffer cloths I buy. I think it qualifies as the ugliest Swiffer Cozy ever, but it used up leftover yarn I had and, it is very functional.

Repurposing Calendar Pictures
If I don't already have enough similar pictures as screen savers, I scan the calendar photos onto my computer. Then, this morning, I took them to an elementary school. The lady at the office desk was pleased to take them and thought the teachers and kids would like them.

Save Incomplete Kitchen Sets For Other Purposes
If you lose or break one of your measuring cups or spoons, the odd cups or spoons work great in sugar and flour canisters. I keep a 1/4 cup in with my rice in a jar.
