| Product Review: GameWave System
I think this is a great system full of family-friendly and child-safe games. Some of the games, like "Lock" are based on Yahtzee, others are based on compilations like the Veggie Tales game that has a bingo-type game, a "concentration" type game and 4 others, and puzzle games.

If you have a daughter who has a love affair with cats and also loves mysteries this is a game you should consider for her Christmas or birthday present. Though young detectives male and female will also love this game.

| Preserving Game Boards and Pieces
When my family purchases new games with game board, before they play the first game, I use wide, clear packing tape and reinforce corners of both the bottom and top of the game box, and any inserts inside the box.

| Let's Go to the Olympics Party
By Debra Frick
This year, I am going to throw a party on the opening day of the Olympics. The summer Olympics this year will be held in Beijing, China so I thought this would be a great time to pull out some of my favorite Chinese recipes. The menu I chose will feed between 2-4 couples. What is great about this menu is that if I choose not to cook, I can order all the food from my local Chinese take out and it will be less work for me.

| Video Game Review: Oregon Trail 5
By Debra Frick
This is a very interesting game that a lot of kids in the 80's played on their Apple computers in their classrooms. But for us older folks who only knew computers that filled up whole rooms, this game is very relaxing and builds knowledge. The game is set in the 1800's and you are family traveling the Oregon Trail. The object of the game is to get yourself and your family to the destination of your choice healthy and alive.

| Cool Sensory Toy for Kids (and Adults!)
Tape a large square of sticky shelf liner (Mac Tac) to the floor, or to the wall, or a door, UPSIDE DOWN. (That's right, sticky side UP.) Kids love sticking their hair to the wall and their hands and feet to the floor! Doesn't have enough glue to REALLY stick, just enough to have fun!

| Card Game: Runs And Sets
Need clarification on rules for sets and runs. 1. If a player wants to replace a joker which has been played in a run, does the player have to be on the board themselves in order to do this?
