Craft: Birthday Goodie Bags
This is a photo of a Goodie Bag I created for my son's Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Party in May. I was going to go the normal route and buy those cheesy little plastic goodie bags but with all the items I wanted to give the kids, I thought they were too small and easily punctured.

Reuse Magnetic Schedules
Don't throw away those magnetic sports schedules on your refrigerator, after the season is over. They can be cut up into any size you need and used in lots of crafts. Simply hot glue the non-magnetic side to whatever you're making.

Make Your Own Mailbox
The mailbox along the road at my house is the standard black plastic domed type (you can glimpse a tiny picture of it it to the visual right of my steps). It leaks. The door's crooked.

Craft: Drying and Painting Gourds
Purchase small gourds to use this year and then allow them to dry for next year. Small gourds take several months to dry so better get started now.
